Obituary of Elicia Wernikowski

Elicia Marie Wernikowski, of Brockville, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024 of Ovarian cancer.

Elicia was born on December 26th, 1955 to Maureen Barbara (O'Connor) and Joseph Hillary Wernikowski of Ottawa, Ontario.

 

Beloved sister of Michael (Suzanne Weld), Stephen (Connie), and Nicholas.

Cherished aunt of Katrina, Mark, Joseph, and Noah. 

While there are many cousins and friends who deeply touched her life, Elicia especially appreciated Donny and the Timpson gang, Judy Adams, Sharon O'Connor, Marcie Bell, Elizabeth Wollenston, and dear folks at Wall Street Village(Linda, Pauline and Judy).

 

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Renfrew Hospice, BGH Palliative Care, KGH Cancer Centre and in the community.

 

Elicia loved nature, gardening, reading, current affairs, and animals.

 

Private arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
