Obituary of Peter Mosseau

(Retired Mall Manager – Arnprior Shopping Centre)

With sadness the family announces that Peter passed away surrounded by the love of his family at home on Sunday afternoon, November 3, 2024. He was 68.

Beloved husband of Valerie (nee Vaughan) for over 49 years.

Loved and cherished Dad of Gloria Mosseau (Larry) and Jonathan Mosseau (Melanie).

Special Grandpa of Abigael Bedard.

Dear brother of Earl Jr. (Marjorie), Tom (Heather), Joey (Denise), Mike (Shelley), Helen McMullen (late David) and Emma Huckabone (Bob).

Fondly remembered brother-in-law of Bill Vaughan (Linda), Tony Vaughan and Allan Vaughan (Pearl).

Son of the late Earl Sr. and Delores (nee Couvieau) Mosseau.

Peter will be missed by his nieces, nephews and many friends.

Peter had a great passion for the outdoors, fishing, hunting and four-wheeling. He spent many years at his camp in Calabogie with great friends and family.

The family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Jennifer Becker, nurses: Haley, Jessica and Amanda and all the PSWs who helped out for their compassion, love and support.

Peter’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Peter will be held on Saturday May 17th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Masonic Hall, 31 James Street, Arnprior.
