Much loved and proud Dad of Stephen Dodd, Kim Turton and the late Carrie Dodd.

Ron was a history buff and often shared the story of the day his father returned home from WWII, reuniting families at the train station in Ottawa now known as Lansdowne Park.
That experience had a profound impact on his life and how he chose to live on a farm in the Ottawa Valley.
Ron attended Commerce High School in Ottawa for the sole purpose of playing on their high school football team.
He was a life long supporter of the Ottawa Redblacks and Ottawa Senators Hockey Club. After high school he attended Pentecostal Bible College in Peterborough.
Ron always took great care of his home and hobby farm.
The lawn was always perfectly maintained and wood was piled high in preparation for the long winters.
He was a dog lover and the border collie was his favorite breed.
Dad’s greatest joy in life was family and the 63 years he had with our Mother.
His legacy of care, devotion, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Ron’s final care has been entrusted to the
