Obituary of Fred Pawluck

(retired – Boeing Canada)

 

The family of Freddy Pawluck is saddened to share the news of his sudden passing on November 21, 2024 at the age of 91.

 

He was a long-time resident of Arnprior, most recently residing at The Grove Nursing Home.

 

Freddy was born on September 1, 1933, to Peter Pawluck and Marie (Martineau) in Montreal, Quebec. He had three older brothers, Peter, Anthony and John.

 

On August 3, 1957 he married the love of his life, Ginette (Roy) and they had two children, Lucie and Normand Pawluck.

 

Freddy provided for his family as a hard-working labourer. He proudly worked as a sheet metal worker for his final 20 working years, and retired from Boeing of Canada - Arnprior Division.

 

Freddy was an avid videographer and always loved taking videos of his family during the holidays and family gatherings. He enjoyed playing card games with his family, friends and especially with his grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ginette, who passed away on August 2nd, 2021.

 

Freddy is survived by his two children; daughter Lucie Gilchrist (Brian) and son Normand Pawluck (Liane) as well as his beloved grandchildren, Sasha Gilchrist (Noah) Rebecca Douvinos (James), Graham Pawluck (Luisa) and Calvin Pawluck (Cassandra).

 

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at The Grove Nursing Home for going above and beyond in helping us out at this difficult time as well as for the daily care Freddy received over the past 2 years.

 

Fred’s private care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home.

 

 

The family has planned a private Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
