We are all sad to hear of Carls passing. We remember him for our joint trip to Gao Ming to adopt our daughters, and later as a neighbour close to where we live. Carl and I went on many walks with our dog and enjoyed the coffee shop after.
He was a very gentleman and nice person to go for walks with. Carl will be missed.
Sorry for your loss, Dave, Deb, and Leslie Cotter

Carl was a gentle man who loved his family. Carl loved Donna, Samantha, and Jessica and all aspects of raising a family including watching the kids soccer and listening to Samantha’s piano and Jessica’s violin, and canoeing camping with the family.
He was a wonderful friend and we miss him.

I remember Carl from public school (Broadview) and High School (Nepean) days. He was a gifted athlete and a warm human being. It's been many years since we attended school together. So glad to see he made a difference and was loved and appreciated by many for his wonderful qualities. They showed through even in the school days!
Condolences to surviving family and friends.

Dear Donna, Jessica, Samantha
We regret that we did not get the opportunity to become acquainted with Carl before he succumbed to illness. However, we did have the privilege of getting to know him vicariously, via the legacy he created through his love for each of you. Your reciprocal love and admiration for Carl is palpable. We are deeply sorry for your loss.
Despite suffering and decline, Carl was joyful. And despite (or perhaps, in part, resulting from) the challenges of caregiving for a beloved husband and father, you all embrace living, learning, and social contribution with zeal.
We know Carl only through his footprints. But the track is clear and inspiring.
With love and hugs,
Carol & Morgan

Although we only knew him for a few short years, we always enjoyed his company on many occasions at theatres, on quiet walks, watching football games and home visits. Rest in peace Carl...our thoughts are with you Donna, Samantha and Jessica.

My sympathies to you Donna and family. IT was a surprise to see this notice. I don't think I will be able to make the visit to Arnprior as I will be coming back from Toronto. May the Holy Spirit give you the straight to carry on with courage. I would have loved to see you and the girls. I'ts been quite a while. Blessings

I met Carl through a community singing program where his love of music was obvious by the sparkle in his eyes and his enthusiastic participation. He was he was a warm, sweet-natured, gentle man who remains much loved by Donna, Samantha and Jessica. Their devotion to Carl through his illness confirms the wonderful husband and father he was to his family. Although they have years of memories, their loss of this wonderfully kind man comes far too early. Bless you all.

Dear Donna, Samantha and Jessica,
I'm so sorry to hear of Carl's passing. I think you hit it exactly in saying that the world is a better place for Carl having been in it. He was that person that had a joy for life, love for family, and a rare kindness and gentleness. I think fondly of visits at your place in Arnprior and Victoria, and Carl's jokes and tales of trapping raccoons. I hope you find comfort in each other and with family and friends in this difficult time.
My sincere condolences, Michelle Murti
