Obituary of Dan Moreau

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Dan passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Friday, November 29, 2024.

Daniel John Moreau of Arnprior; formerly of Midland was 78 years of age.

Beloved husband for over 56 years of Lori (nee Hajok).

Much loved Dad of Jennifer Houston (Andrew), Tanya Gabourie (Dean) and Amy Zahrebelny (Stephen).

Cherished and proud Grandpa of Madison and Michael Houston, Danny Doak and Thomas Zahrebelny and Papa of Aurora Doak.

Dan was the last surviving child of the late Théophile and Matilda (nee Bourrie) Moreau.

He was predeceased by 5 brothers: Clarence (Barbara), Tom (late Lois), Jimmy, Orly (late Lucille) and Lawrence (late Loris)

as well as 4 sisters: Marie Lespérance (late Armand), Barbara Biggs (late Lloyd), Lorraine Cadeau (late Earl) and Marjorie Stewart (late Jack).

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the

Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
