I was privileged to know June. I was invited several times to Rowley family get togethers over the years and was always welcomed by June and Ken. June was a warm and engaging person with a keen sense of humour. She loved her kids and grandkids and visited often in later years to Toronto when she was still able. June will be missed by family and friends. May her memory be for a blessing.
Ed Yudin, brother of son-in-law Steve Yudin.

I remember all the conversations we had and the last phonecall we had june. I was chatting abit loud on the phone and you said "I may be old; but I ain't deaf". It was comical. Willenhall humour. The stories how my Grandad would say you were his favourite sister in law. A lovely great aunt. Thoughts with you and family at this sad time.
Eleanor.

Grandma would always sit with me at the sidelines of events - such as Alexander & Josie’s wedding - and chitchat while we people-watched. She was such a humble, funny lady! She made me feel very loved and welcomed into the family. She made a point of attending all the big moments in mine & Desmond’s life (engagement, wedding, baby dedications). I will truly miss those sideline chats. Love you dearly Grandma June. ‘Til we meet again, enjoy your time in the Sunrise.

Grandma June and I used to have a pretty unique relationship. She liked soccer/football. Every now and then I’d get a call that would be like “How do I find Newcastle v Sunderland.” Which would be hilarious in itself because both teams were terrible at the time. She used to tell me about how her and Grandpa used to support Wolverhampton since they were from one town over.

I first met June when she came to the villa. She was a lovely lady and a kindred spirit. We had long nights of scrabble and talked stories about her life over seas and on how she came over to Canada. She will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to all her family.

When I first met June in Montreal she made me feel welcomed and began talking about England, the Monarchy and how she loved the Royal Family. June politely asked me if I liked the Royal family and well my response was “I can take them or I can leave them” She was a real trooper. I was trying to be nice and she knew it. However, when she started down sizing it seemed that I got a lot of those books she had about the Monarchy. By that time I really loved Lady Diana so I guess that’s why she wanted me to have the books. It was really sweet of her to think of me like that. Rest in Peace ❤️
