Obituary of James Lockhart
Surrounded by family and love, James Gordon Lockhart of Fitzroy Harbour passed away peacefully at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice in Kanata on Thursday morning, January 2, 2025, at the age of 68.
James was the beloved husband and best friend of Dianne (Illing) and a devoted dad to Graeme (Alisa), Symon (Sarah), and his late son Nathan.
He was the proud and loving Papa of Naomi, Mia, Gemma, Fynn, and Jude, who brought so much joy to his life.
A man of boundless curiosity and creativity, James had a passion for music, photography, and tinkering with just about anything he could get his hands on.
He delighted in solving problems, creating new things, and diving into projects like 3D design and printing.
His adventurous spirit and innovative mind left their mark on everything he touched.
He will be deeply missed by his sister Maureen Ballad (Rod) and brother Malcolm Lockhart (Krys), as well as by his nieces, nephews, and everyone who knew him.
He is reunited with his late brother Ken Lockhart and his parents, Cam and Lois (Locke) Lockhart.
James’s warmth, humor, and love of life were an inspiration to everyone around him.
His memory will live on in the music he loved, the photographs he captured, the creations he brought to life, and the stories shared by those who knew him.
Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of the Pilon Family in Arnprior.
