You will be missed, I remember the fun you brought into my life when I was just a young boy, when we would visit your home, I used to watch how you made beautiful furniture, it always made me at peace to see how your family was so happy together when we would visit.
I remember the time as a young boy and you where showing me the finger trick with your thumb and how you would make it look as if it had falling off, it took me some effort to get you to show me how you did it, but you showed me, what great fun you were, I will miss you Uncle Roy.

My thoughts and prayers are with Irene and all the family. I could not have asked for a better neighbour for 20 years. Always liked my chats in the yard with Roy. Gave us a break from cutting the grass etc. You will be missed.
My deepest condolences to Jane and the entire Turton family. I spent many sleepovers at the Turton home on Elgin Street with Jane. It was always a very welcoming and happy home. Roy will be missed by all who knew him.
Turton Family - My condolences on the passing of your father. He was a great family man, talented in many things and had a strong personality. I am sure he was a fighter to the end. He lived a long life and it is comforting to know he is now at peace.

Before we had Google there were individuals like Roy who had resources and contacts that left me in awe. Not only did he have his ability to resource material but was able to coach and mentor me when I struggled to complete the projects. Roy and Vern are at the core of my mechanical attributes
