Obituary of Roy Turton

(Retired – Playtex, Arnprior)

Peacefully and following a lengthy illness, Roy Turton of Arnprior passed away at the Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus on Thursday afternoon, January 10, 2019. He was 93. Beloved and devoted husband of Irene (nee Cronk) for almost 70 years. Dearly loved father of Peter (Kyla), Doug (Bev), Jane Hart (late Peter), Andy (Brenda), John, Barb Rozman (Al) and Ellen Thompson (Chris). Cherished and lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother, Doug Turton (Wendy). Predeceased by his parents, Eddie and Isabel Turton as well as a brother, Allan and a sister, Marian. Roy will be interred in the Turton family plot at the Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa in the Spring.
