Obituary of Thomas "Tom" McHale

With profound sadness we announce that Tom passed away suddenly but very peacefully at home in Richmond on Saturday morning, August 10, 2019 just a few days shy of his 71^st birthday. Forever loved and remembered by his wife, Katherine (nee Anderson); his only son, Michael of Stittsville; siblings: Marilyn Robertson of Arnprior; Michael McHale (Elaine) of Pakenham; Roseanne Carroll (Mike) of Dunrobin and Sharon Sample of Arnprior.  Special brother-in-law of Bruce and Jill Anderson of Stittsville. Dear son of the late Tom and Theresa (nee Smith) McHale, formerly of Fitzroy Harbour. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews as well as many wonderful friends. Tom’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. Friends were invited to join the family during visitation at St. Philip’s Parish Hall, 127 Burke Street, Richmond on Wednesday, August 14th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. only. A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Philip’s Church on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. A luncheon was served in the Parish Hall with interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Fitzroy Harbour. In memory of Tom, please consider a donation to St. Philip’s Church (Richmond) Restoration Fund or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
