Norma, Shannon, Dan and family,
I'm so sad to hear this news, and my heart is with all of you.
I don't even know where to begin with the fond memories I have of this fella. So many laughs and smiles through the years, and I'm thankful to have known Wayne and to call him a friend.
It's those memories and good times that will get you all through this sad time.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Wayne, until the next time we meet ... you need to know that I'm truly sorry for that phone call so many years ago when you really thought I was calling to ask you to play in a ball tournament. It broke my heart to hear the sadness in your voice when I asked to speak to 15-year-old Danny and not his dear ol' Dad.
