Rob will truly be missed. He painted my house, was always so positive and happy. He's been a great mentor to me as I became an Elder in our church. At one of my last Elder visits he told me I was 'one of the best'. I will never forget that. What a wonderful man. He is in Heaven now, looking down on us all. He's at peace, out of pain and hoping all the best for us here on earth. Let's keep him in our happy memories until we meet him again.

Sandra, it was our privilege to get to know you, Robert, Cameron and Craig and all the Scobie family while we were in Arnprior. Our visits to see both Isabel and Robert in hospital, though difficult, were ones we would never have missed. You and your family were and are dear to our hearts. Distance and absence doesn’t remove the love you have for your church family. David and I mourn with you Sandra. Our last visit to Ottawa to see you both was particularly painful for us. Though Robert’s passing leaves a hole in our lives, we are grateful to know that he is definitely with Jesus. Out of pain, suffering, anxiety and uncertainty, Robert is whole, restored and joyful in the Presence and Arms of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. God bless you and uphold you, the boys and your dear family during the coming days, weeks and months. Love David and Debra.

Sandra, Cameron and Craig, I am so sorry for your loss. Rob was an amazing man who made a difference in so many lives especially with Fish and Game. I remember spending many hours with him and Dsd prepping for the wild game dinner,dinner mertings and youth events. When we were all much younger there were the overnight fishing expeditions. A hole has been left here on earth, but a family reunion has occured. God bless each of you and hold you in the palm of His hands now and always. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Sandra, Cameron, Craig and the Scobie Family Thinking of you all this week. We never know what our journey on earth will lead us to but we do our best. Rob did just that.
