Obituary of Robert "Rob" Scobie

We are saddened to announce that Robert passed away on Friday evening, November 8, 2019 just three days after his mother's passing. Rob was 55. Beloved husband and best friend of Sandra (nee Francis). Dearly loved father and mentor of Cameron and Craig. Son of James and the late Isabel Scobie. Dear brother of Hugh (May) and Jim (Karen), both of Arnprior; Sandra Quade (Clarence) of Quadeville; Isabel Bigras (Marc) of Cornwall; Neil of Arnprior and Eoin (Fanny) of Pakenham. Predeceased by a sister, Helen Nicholas. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, hunt camp buddies, as well as many friends and good customers. Rob’s quiet demeanor and strong work ethic earned him the respect of all who knew him. Gone far too soon. Rob’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation was held on Friday, November 15th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, November 16th from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. A Funeral Service was conducted in Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 80 Daniel Street North, Arnprior on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock. In memory of Rob please consider a donation to the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation or The Grove Nursing Home Redevelopment Fund.
