Colleen and your dear siblings: You can’t know how bereft I felt to hear of your mother’s death. As you know, we were already mourning my brother-in-law, Bill Morris’s death, on December 5, and then to hear that dear Rita left us was almost too much. Your obituary and those beautiful photos of your mom make me weep. I so wished I could have been able to stay in the area for one more day but unfortunately, it just wasn’t possible. My heart goes out to you all.

Although I did not know your mother on a personal basis, I often saw her at Forest Hills, and remarked to my husband what a lady she was, Kudos to your family for taking such good care of her.
