My sincere condolences to Dan, Tammy and family. I was so pleased to have been able to attend the memorial service for Nancy. It was a beautiful tribute to her legacy as a mom, grandmother and friend. A truly beautiful lady.

It is a heartbreaker for sure that Nancy had to leave us. I cannot remember a conversation with her when she wasn't laughing and smiling. What a sweetheart. We will miss her very very much.

Nancy was such a loving cousin, even from a distance. I am so glad we reconnected through Facebook! She showed real concern for me when I got my breast cancer diagnosis and kept her eye on me. What a shock to find that she was seriously ill soon after Still we shared Rest in peace dear cousin...no more sickness...I will always have a warm feeling at the thought of you dear cousin.
We were sorry to hear about Nancy. She always had a kind word for anyone she met. The residents of 3Mile Bay, Whitelake and a few others turned on their Xmas Lights or lit a candle last night in her honor. RIP our friend. Dan and family, Tammy and Family, and Nancy's family please accept our condolences on your loss.
I was saddened to hear of Nancy's passing. She was a colleague at Gowlings for those many years. My very sincere condolences to Nancy's family. I know she will be missed.

Nancy and I married in 1968, and the awesome product of that marriage is our wonderful daughter Tammy Lucas. Although we were not married long, Nancy and I, as well as her husband Dan Ryan, remained close friends all these years. We continued to love and care for each other. Nancy was a very special lady. She worked hard to give her daughter the best upbringing possible. There was nothing selfish about her. She gave all. She cared for all. Tammy and her mother have had a very close relationship all of Tammy’s life. Tammy has grown up to be a wonderful mother of her own because for what she learned from her mother. I am happy that Tammy was able to be with her mother when she passed.
We all know the pain of losing someone, especially someone close to us. However, the family should take comfort in knowing Nancy is no longer suffering, and is in a better place.
