Obituary of Nancy Vatcher-Ryan

With great sadness the family announces that Nancy passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Sunday morning, February 7, 2021. She was 75. Cherished wife and best friend of Dan Ryan for over 30 years. Dearly loved momma of Tammy Vatcher-Lucas (Marc) and stepmother of Scott Ryan. Special nanny of Kaylen, Kenzie and Karson. Nancy will be missed by her brothers: Wayne Amos (Bonnie) and Cam Amos (Joan) as well as so many friends and extended family. Daughter of the late Gerald and Gwen (nee Kirkby) Amos. Nancy spent over 20 years working with the Gowling & Henderson Law Firm and 10 years as a school administrator at Robert Hopkins Primary School in Beacon Hill. She was always admired for her exceptional work ethic throughout her life. She enjoyed every moment and memory made at her retirement home of over 18 years in White Lake, where she also served as Treasurer of the WLPOA. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to nurses Brittney and Amanda of Bayshore Healthcare as well Dr. Zadow of the Arnprior Family Health Team for all of their exceptional care and support. 

The family would like to invite friends to a Celebration of Nancy’s Life which will be held on Saturday morning, July 23^rd at 11 o’clock at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A reception will follow. The service will be webcast live for those wishing to join us on their electronic devices.
