My mother Margaret told me of Lillian's passing today. I am very sorry for your loss. I remember Lillian from my childhood in Castleford. A very lovely person.

After the short time at the manor , she sure touched alot of hearts . Including mine in big way . She was a very unique lady , one of a kind . She always kept us busy . It was a pleasure to have got to know her ,thanks for sharing her with us .
I just heard about Lillians passing. I am so sorry for your families great loss. She was such a fun lady, with a strong mind, full of spunk and style! Lots of love being sent your way.

I remember seeing Lillian at many places but mostly at W.I. events. Her hard work, dedication, style and her laughter made any gathering fun and rewarding.

My sympathy to Betty and Jean and Hazel and your families. I was glad to be delegated to help serve at Lillian’s table at the church socials. Her hair was always perfect and I loved to hear her laugh. Another of Castleford’s matriarchs is gone and I will always remember them for the part they played in showing me the benefits that community togetherness plays in our lives.
