My deepest sympathy to Bev's family. I greatly enjoyed her singing at the Eganville Legion on Thursday nights before COVID-19. I remember how Rodney often jokingly tried to get her mixed up. May she rest in peace.

So sad to hear of Bev’s passing. Though it’s been many years since we’ve been in contact, I have great memories of visiting, playing cards and having great meals with Bev, Allan, Jim and the kids in Geraldton and I offer my sincere condolences to Allan, Chrissy, Donna and David and the grandchildren. My thoughts are with you all on this sad day. Janus Forbes

Gary and I were shocked to hear of Bev's passing. Our deepest Sympathy goes out to Allan and all the family. Bev was part of our Legion family as well. Even though she was not a member, she was always ready to help out when ever an event was taking place. We sat together at parties and dances and Bev would be the center of all the teasing. She loved every bit of it She also loved to be asked to get up on stage at the Thursday night jams at the Legion and would sing a few songs. Someone always had a request for her and if she didn't know it, she would learn it for the next time she sang. She was very proud of all her Grandchildren and talked about them a lot. When Covid-19 hit, Bev was the first to call and see how Gary and I were doing and if there was anything we needed or they could do for us. She was a great friend to us and we will miss her and she will be missed by so many.

Dear Allan, Chris, Donna, David and all my beautiful nieces and nephews;
My sincere condolences as you grieve and remember the special and happy times you spent with your Mom and Nan. Allan was the centre of her life, her best friend and supporting husband. As a Mom, Bev taught her children and grandchildren to be the loving, caring and beautiful people you are. She was strict and because of that you are all self-reliant and resilient.
Remembering Bev throughout the different years and the arrival of her children; Chrissy, Donna and David to finally the abundance of grandchildren only made her happier and more content. Someone else to play board games with!
A good day for Bev was organizing another family get together. No special occasion was necessary. She'd always say "no big deal, just add another potato to the pot". When entertaining at her home became too much, she'd say no problem; Donna doesn't mind and with the added benefit the family circle grew to include the Resmer families.
Bev is my sister and friend and I would call every second day with a "did you know" or "you'll never guess what happened"? Our talks would range from a quick 20 minutes to sometimes an hour or two. Whether she was giving me investment advice, or we'd discuss the Sunday service to possibly what I was working on to purchasing another property. She never tired of me calling, helping me sort whatever was on my mind and we never ran out of things to talk about.
She was outgoing and loved people. That's who Bev is.... and together our small family will miss her immensely.
Deb, Rene, Morgan.
