From the McGuey Family (George & Pauline) in Calgary.
Very sad to hear that John is no longer with us.
He was very influential in my early working career at EB Eddy which was the foundation for many successful ventures in my life.
I will always have fond memories of the past.

Deepest condolences to the family of John McGuey, always remembered as a tease when I was a young woman. His resemblance to his dad is quite pronounced in this picture.

Chuck and family, I’ll always remember your dad as a great neighbour; from knocking on his door because I needed help with something to sitting outside and throwing the kong for Tango, he was a wonderful man! I am so sorry for your loss.

We have lost a gentle soul, and friend here at "the Dove".
Thoroughly enjoyed John's talks with me. His love for his wife Sandra and how deeply he missed her and thought of her daily. John was a true gentleman with a twinkle in his eye, backed by a little divilment. He loved his feather friends. Hopefully John we will keep your feathered friends fed for you. "Grasshopper" will miss her ball games at the back. Truth be told John I think she taught you to go fetch more than you taught her!,
God speed John, rest in peace.
Chuck, you did well for John and he was thankful - don't ever second guess yourself about it. He was proud of you.

I felt so sad to hear of John’s passing. He was the best, he was a gentleman through and through. He had such a great sense of humour and a sparkle in his eyes. I will miss John, he really meant a lot to me. I know you will miss him Chuck, as well as the rest of your family. You were really good to him Chuck, you were good for each other. I will be thinking of you, in the spring when the gang is sitting out leave a place for John.
