Obituary of Frank Finley

(Retired – AECL) With great sadness and heavy hearts, the family announces that Frank passed away suddenly on Thursday evening, March 3, 2022 following a wonderful day spent with loved ones. Beloved husband of the late Joan Cotter (December 29, 2002). He is survived by his daughters: Ann Marie Spears (Peter) of Kemptville and Christina “Tina” Voisin-Finley (Charlie) of Kanata. Cherished and proud “Grandpa/Papa” of Joel Spears (Katie) and Annah Finley. Frank was a loving companion and partner to Linda Presley of Braeside. The last surviving child of the late Arthur and Irene (nee Rock) Finley. Frank was also predeceased by brothers: Arthur “Art” (Janet) and Ken (late Hilda) Finley. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and countless friends throughout the Ottawa Valley. Jovial, happy and infectiously entertaining are but a few words that could be used to describe Frank. God Bless A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside on Saturday morning, March 12th at 11 o’clock. Spring interment Holy Well Cemetery, Mount St. Patrick. A recording of the Funeral Mass will be uploaded to this site on Saturday afternoon. By family request, flowers and donations are gratefully declined.
