My sincere condolences to Mary, Samantha and Murray. I started my elevator career at the Rideau Centre in 1982, with Ron and his buddy Joe Martel ... we were quite a crew and I can say without hesitation that Ron was the most mischievous of us all. Mary, your lunches were legendary and all of us shared in the baking. Ron was a great mentor and example of hard work while having fun. We had a hoot at Dover elevator and I will miss him both professionally and personally.
Rest in Peace old friend, until we meet again.

Mary, Samantha and Murray,
My deepest condolences on Ron's passing. He was such a delight to work with, always quick to laugh or make jokes. My favourite moments were when he would tell people, long before smartphones or smartwatches, to e-mail their complaints to his watch and then just walk away while they were still realizing what he had said and they had no way to contact him. His pride in and love of his family were always evident. Mary, I will always treasure you and Ron having Alison Longmore, my daughter, still a toddler at the time, and I over for tea. I will hold you all in my prayers.

Our deepest condolences to Mary, Samantha, Murray and all the family . Ron was a treasured friend of ours for 47 years. From our humble beginnings in the apartment building, living across the hall from each other , to building our log cottages together, we have shared so many wonderful memories . We will treasure all the wonderful summer cottage memories . He was intensely proud of his children and a true family man at heart . Our conversations would always end with what his grandchildren, Quinn and Evan were up to . We will miss his drop ins at the cottage and our chats. .
Will always remember Ron with one of the dogs on his lap or curled up beside him . Rest In Peace Ron
