I will always remember her kindness and her welcoming spirit even when we would try her seemingly limitless patience as we all grew up together on MacDonald St. Her passing marks the end of an era. She was a family treasure and we were all blessed to have had her in our lives.

To all the families sorry to hear of Billie's passing I met her in the early 70's and remember calling her Mrs. Hammond and she said to me John call me Billie. Okay Gran, this is my third attempt and my eyes are too swollen to try again so you best just let me post these pictures of us;) There are too many stories to choose from but a life time of memories, unconditional love, support, soft guidance, needing help with a recipe, laughter, a whole lot of sass and most of all a smile that could melt your heart. You were always the first if not the second call I would make when I had some news to share, cheers you at midnight on New Year’s Eve no matter where we were, called back and forth during super bowl, it didn’t matter where we were if we weren’t together we made sure that you were there apart of it with us. You are already missed more than words could describe but I cannot thank you enough for all that you have taught me about being a strong woman. We love you so very much Gran. Colin & Lacey xox
