I'm so sorry to hear about Clare's passing. She was an incredible soul. I have so many memories growing up of her. I fondly remember summers at the pool with her and Omer (and the best ice cream sundaes), spending holidays and birthdays together, getting together for BBQs and much more. I have many fond memories of the times we shared in Winnipeg, Greenwood NS and Summerside PEI in our early airforce lives. Omer and Clare were like family to those of us who were still single in those days, Clare always welcoming regardless of the timing. My wife Evelyn, Clare's second cousin, and I also had many great visits in Arnprior over the decades. I offer my sincere condolences to Omer and the boys and fanily.

It is with the Utmost Respect that I send my Sincere Condolences to you Omer, Danny, Michel, Marc and Families. In remembering Clare I can think of so many wonderful Attributes and Memories of her. She was an incredibly Kind, Welcoming and Genuine Woman. She was Compassionate which was part of what made her an Excellent Nurse. Mom (Gloria DesRoches), Kim (Turner) and I (Kelly Turner) feel very blessed to have been able to visit with Uncle Omer and Aunt Clare on our past trip to PEI in the summer of 2017. I have such good memories having Clare (Mrs. Poirier!) as my neighbour growing up on Kinsmen Cres: having swims in the pool (I think it was the first pool on the block!), the annual Christmas eve party and the little gifts she would give my brother, Troy, and I and being inspired when Mr. and Mrs. Poirier would tell me about their international travels. Kevin and I were very saddened to learn of Mrs. Poirier's passing.
I will always fondly remember the Crescent parties and sense of family and belonging we experienced as kids growing up in such a wonderful neighborhood with people like Clare watching out for us.
