I never met Johanna, but I met Laurie on the Magic Cafe forum on the internet. We had many discussions about the ethics of performing magic as well as some of the intricacies of effective performance. I met Laurie and Tracey at a magic convention in Las Vegas. Johanna raised them well. I'm sorry they are losing their dear mother.

Your Mom was a gentle , kind , lovely woman who raised two daughters who turned out to be equally amazing . I am sorry that you have had to experience this , but her love for both of you will remain forever. Johanna adored both of you ; I know she was aware of how much she was loved by you both.
