Obituary of Wesley "Wes" Devries

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Wes passed away unexpectedly at home in Stittsville on Monday, September 26, 2022. He was 65. Loved father of Courtney Massel (Jonathan) of Dunrobin and Grampa of Mikaela and Jace. Dear brother of Bonnie Delarge (Kerry Kenny) and Pete Devries (Caroline), both of Almonte. Predeceased by a brother, Sherman (Barb of Renfrew). Long time best friend of Davit Delarge of Stittsville. Wes will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, Wine Villa customers as well as his many great Main Street Pub friends with whom he shared a great deal of fun times. His final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will be held on Monday, October 3^rd from 2 to 4 p.m. and again from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. A Twilight Service to honour Wes will follow in the Pilon Family Chapel at 7 o’clock. Interment Haley’s Cemetery. In memory of Wes, please consider a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
