We had the pleasure to meet Joyce on several occasions. She was just a wonderful lovely women. Soft spoken, gentle, kind hearted & a joy to be in her presence. I remember at the cottage, Joyce & Peter sitting on the swing together Inside the porch, reminding me of a true love story. Pat & her siblings have such wonderful memories to fill their hearts. Such a beautiful loving family. Our sincere condolences.
Rest in peace.
Love Maureen, Claude & Justin

Here are a few memories that came to mind.
Aunt Joyce’s smile and laugh are the two most outstanding memories I have of her. That, and how welcoming she always was to me, the out-of-town city kid who had no brothers and sisters, folded into her large family on school vacations. How I loved visiting – playing with my cousins; mostly Carol, who was my age, going for snowmobile rides and just being part of her big family. Joyce’s thoughtfulness always touched my heart, even as an adult, inviting Al and I to visit whenever we were in town, checking in with me after my mom died, sending birthday and anniversary cards every year all my life, and including me in big family events. Even in her nineties I continued to receive cards from her, her signature not as clear as it once was, but she remembered. She was a gentle force for good in my life, and I loved her.
