It is with sadness I have heard of the passing of Pat. Even though it has been quite some time since we visited, Pat was always very kind and big smile. She was a wonderful friend to my mother Margaret Roe who we lost 3 years ago. I am sure the girls from the hill in Arnprior are having a good reunion now. Our thoughts are with you Jill during this sad time, Don Roe

Whenever We visited Aunt Pat and Uncle Glen, They would invite Us for dinner, which was always a beautiful meal.
However Aunt Pat would always find something that she could have prepared just a little better.
I remember Her Friendly Smile and Her Positive Attitude.
She will be missed by All who knew Her!

Please accept our heart felt condolences to Uncle Glen, Jill and Roy, Shannon and Brett, Adam and Jenna, and Penny too. We have fond memories of Aunt Pat and we will miss her greatly. We are sharing a couple of recent photos one of which was our last dinner with her and Uncle Glen in December prior to leaving for Florida. Things won't be the same on Peggs Lane - another matriarch has left us. We will miss the stories and laughs and her beautiful smile.

I was privileged to meet Pat at Adam and Jenna's wedding and enjoy her company at dinner that day. We spoke one day on the telephone around Christmas of 2022. I wish we had lived closer to have had a chance to know each other better since two of our wonderful grandchildren had chosen to spend their lives together. Keep your memories close and she will always be with you.

My condolences to Glen and family.... Pat was a gentle kind lady and I had the privilege of knowing her through our Helping Hands group at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. She was a gifted sewer and her work is still visible in our Church today. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Uncle Glenn, Jill, Roy, Shannon and Adam my deepest sympathies. I have many happy childhood memories of aunt Pat that I hold in my heart. Always a soft tone and big smile welcoming us into the cottage. I remember we would always go for one of Aunt Pats wonderful meals and my dad would always need a nap because he enjoyed her food so much. The love for her family, grandkids and all of the dogs were felt with each word she spoke. As I got older my visits to white lake were less, but never complete without a visit to Pat and Glens. We were always offered a bed to stay, a meal or sweet baked treat. I loved having her show me around the house. She was so proud of it and of Jill and her decorating skills. She would show the crafts she was working on and my favourite was when she painted wooden chickens. I remember taking one or two home. We tried a few times to stay in touch through FaceTime and those were some fun calls that never seemed to go just right. Generous, kind, gentle with a great sense of humour, she was a truly an inspiration and I know she will be so missed. Love Danielle,Matt, Lucy and Nolan

Glen and Family, My deepest sympathies for your loss. Pat was so kind, helpful and caring; a lovely lady. She made a quilted bag for my late Mum back in their choir days at St. Andrew's which I now have and I will treasure it always. May God's loving embrace be around you. Sincerely, Anne Lyon.

My earliest memory of Aunt Pat was when I was 2 or 3 years old, and Aunt Pat, who was a teenager at that time, took me by train from Ottawa to Arnprior. It was a fun time. My next memories of her were when she came to live with us, as a young working girl. I remember she was dating a handsome young fellow named Glen. Many happy memories occurred over the subsequent years, most of which contained a delicious Christmas dinner at one of their several residences in Ottawa. The one we will all remember the best was the year she sneaked out of the house, and returned dressed as Santa, and rang the doorbell. I remember our girls, Joanne and Diane, sitting on Santa's lap, not realizing that it was actually Aunt Pat. She played the part so well that it was not until later that I realized who Santa was.
Over the years, Aunt Pat always went out of her way to inquire about our girls, asking how they were doing, and what they were up to. Through later years, a trip to White Lake for a visit and dinner was always a highlight, for you knew you were going to get a piece of the best pie ever made. No one made pies better than Aunt Pat.
Always a smile on her face, always a kind word to say about everyone. That was Aunt Pat.

One memory we have was a Christmas dinner at Pat and Glen’ s house when they lived in Ottawa. After enjoying a fantastic full course Christmas dinner, followed by traditional Christmas pudding and hard sauce, we were surprised by a visit from Santa! Enter Aunt Patsy dressed as Santa with a huge sack slung over her back. Glen had made trivets for everyone. Every time we use it, we remember that Christmas.
Condolences to the family. She will be missed but always remembered.

Glen, Jill, Roy, Shannon, Adam. So sorry for your loss. I don't ever remember seeing Aunt Pat without a smile on her face. She will always be remembered as a kind and caring person. As I was searching through some of Art and Noreen's old photos I came across this photo of Aunt Pat. Not sure where this was taken. Pat was obviously very stylish. Cute as a button and remained so for life.
