Obituary of Pat McLachlan

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Pat passed away peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Thursday morning, March 9, 2023; Mabel Patricia McLachlan of White Lake was in her 94th year.

Beloved wife for over 67 years of Glen. Dearly loved and devoted mother of Jill Wood (Roy) of White Lake.

Cherished Granny of Shannon Wood (Brett Richardson) and Adam Wood (Jenna Leversedge).

Pat was the last surviving child of the late Donald and Ruth (nee McNab) Robertson. She was also predeceased by one brother: Ross Robertson (late Frances)

as well as 4 sisters: Isobel Hale (late Don), Peggy O’Neill (late Brian), Jean Thomas (late Nelson) and Donna Popowich (late Bob Heasman and late Julian Popowich).

Lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and good friends. Pat was incredibly creative; a talented painter & beautiful seamstress. 

She poured all her love into her baking.  Pat would want everyone to know that in her final days, she beat her grandson-in-law in an arm wrestling match. 

She had an incredible spirit and sense of humour.  She will be forever in our hearts. Heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital, who were so kind to her during her stay there.

Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.

Visitation was held on Saturday morning, March 18th from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.

A Funeral Service followed in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o’clock. (Service was webcast live).

Interment White Lake Cemetery.
