To Derek, Cheryl, Michael. We are sorry to hear of the passing of your father Ted Graham. He was a great guy and one of our late mother, Elaine Holmes' favourite cousins. We saw him many times at family events over the years, and he lived only a block from my wife's cousin, in Arnprior. Ted and I both played euphonium in bands. My Laurentian high school music teacher, Henry Bonnenburg was in the same Army band in Korea, and he told some stories about them touring Japan.

Cheryl, Derek and Michael our condolences on the passing of your dad.
Ted was a great neighbour of ours for over 20 years. We have had many conversations with him on a regular basis especially when he was out with Coco. We would talk about his military life (thank you fir your service ) school life as a teacher and his love of gardening .
Ted loved his flowers, every year you would see all the flowers lined up alongside his garage, waiting to be planted
He looked forward to tending to the flower bed at the entrance to the Rink of Dreams in Arnprior. He definitely left his mark there for everyone to enjoy and see. He will be missed.

Dear Cheryl, Derek and Michael
We were so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. We have so many fond memories of Ted, especially during our visits to our neighbors, the Mumas, on Smolkin Street, where he often was. I (Suzanne) worked with Ted at the high school. He was such a soft spoken, gentle, kind man. We often ran into your dad since we moved to Almonte and he kept us up to date on his family as you were the light of his life. Our sincere condolences on the loss of a wonderful man. We're sure he's making beautiful music in his new home. Rest in Peace dear friend.

Mike, Cheryl, Derek and families; my heartfelt sympathy goes out to each of you on the loss of Mr.Graham. Mr.Graham was an amazing father, grandpa and great grandpa who loved everybody equally. When I would run into him in Arnprior we would reminisce about high school music and chat about family. He was so proud of not only his families accomplishments, but also his former students. He never forgot a face or what instruments you played. I was also fortunate enough to play under his guidance with the Valley Concert band. Please know that Mr.Graham made a difference in so many lives. His mentorship is the reason so many of us sing and play musical instruments to this day. May God hold each of you in the palm of His hand as you traverse this new path ahead of you. Each of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Remember he is only are memory and a heartbeat away.

To Mr. Graham's family, and especially Mike, my friend whom I remember so fondly, my sincerest condolences.
Mr. Graham's influence on me cannot be understated. I remember everything he taught me, the music, of course, and his anecdotes and stories come out of my mouth lots and lots of times. For a nerd, the music room was like a happy hideout as a student, and he made it a place where you wanted to be. I'm sure some of the grey hair he had was on account of me, but he also was really good to me and I have never and will never forget him. He is as vivid in my memories as my own family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Mr Graham was the reason I spent 40 years in music. Music is the blood that runs your soul. It provides happiness, it helps in the time of need. Ted is now conducting the Angels in the sky and I can’t wait for that performance.

Derek, Cheryl, Michael and family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I still recall when your family moved and lived next door to us Devlins in Perth. A few years later, your father was a music mentor to me and many others at Perth Collegiate. He was a driving force of the high school band. Memories of our trips to Manitoba and other parts of Canada still are in my thoughts. His love of music was so evident. I had not seen or talked to him since you all moved to Arnprior when I was in Grade 13. My father was involved with the Legion in Perth. He always told me when he saw Ted at various functions. May the good times and memories help you through this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to Derek, Cheryl, Mike, and family. Your father was an exceptionally artistic and wonderful human being. He had a profound and indelible impact on my and many other students’ musical and cultural formation. I have such fond memories of excellent music making, winter drives home after band practice, delicious parties with Eileen’s fantastic cooking and a very warm embrace from the Graham family. My appreciation for Ted is something from high school that I carry to this day among my most treasured memories. May he Rest In Peace.

Dear Derek, Cheryl, Michael and family.
I was saddened to hear of your Dad’s passing. Just a few weeks ago there were 6 of us from the good ole band days who had a little get together. Mr. Graham said he would love to come if he was up to it. Well, when I went to pick him up he definitely was not up to it…. we all felt so bad. That said, the six of us who did go had much conversation about your Dad. We all loved the music room, band and yes, Mr. Graham. He was kind, stern when he felt he had to be and kept us on the right musical pathway through high school. May he rest in peace. Please accept my heartfelt condolences, Sheryl ( Hicke) Fishenden

I was very fortunate to have had Mr Graham as my music teacher at ADHS but even more fortunate to have had him for my backyard neighbour for the 38 years we lived on Craig Street. Many of his flowers were added to my landscaping over the years and many chats were shared at the fence. Although he always insisted I call him Ted, the respect for our elders I was raised with was difficult to overcome and I continued calling him Mr Graham. My condolences to all the family on your loss of such a kind gentle man and veteran

Mr Graham was my music teacher and band leader in Perth in the early seventies. He was a perfectionist and worked hard to ensure his students were well trained and proficient. We had a very good high school band.
It was such a surprise to meet him many years later in Arnprior. We had several great chats and I was impressed with his hard work with the Legion.
The beautiful gardens at Legion Park were a tribute to hus hard work and dedication.
My sympathy to his family

My heart skipped a beat this morning when I saw that Mr. Graham had passed away. Though I never had him as a teacher when attending ADHS, I knew of him and his work with the school band. It was not until many years later that we became friends. I have always had a special place in my heart for all Veterans as my parents where both Veteran's of World War II. It was while I was a member of the Arnprior Legion I got to meet so many great ones, Ted being one of them.
He was truly special and it was my honour to call him a Friend. I will never forget his stories he shared of serving in the Canadian Army during the Korean War and for sure all his hard work and dedication he gave to preserve the Veteran's Garden. It should now, be forever, know at the 'Ted Graham Memorial Veteran's Garden'.
RIP in Ted - you did good, Sir....xoxo

Good bye Ted, or Mr. Graham as we called you back in the day. You expanded my love of music for which I am grateful to this day. I have often told the story of having a bit too much cider with your son, and my friend, Derek, prior to a concert performance in Greenfield Park. I fell off my chair, as did Derek, and we also managed to knock over the tuba player. You were not impressed. We learnt our lesson. Rest in Music. For the time being, you are resting in the house I grew up in. David Smith
