Sending my love to Mary Catherine, Jocelyn, Mark, and to the rest of my Ottawa Valley family. I have endless memories of summers at Rhoddys Bay including boat rides on the pontoon, evening fishing with Monty, his famous knee grab, his love of Maple cookies and seeing him in the rocking chair reading the morning paper (and I remember a pipe when I was much younger, I think) The many visits to London while Jocey was at Western and thought out the years to follow. We have known Monte for 50 years, moving into the Riopelle’s neighbourhood just after we had gotten married. We have had dinners together, watched football/hockey games together, played cards together and had so much fun together. One of my favourite memories of Monte was at the Geritol dances he would click up his heels while dancing…..always made me laugh! Monte, it was an honour to know you and to be friends with you!
