Obituary of Monty Riopelle

With heavy hearts and great sadness the family announces that Monty passed away at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital with loved ones by his side on Wednesday afternoon, May 24, 2023. He was 79. Beloved husband for over 55 years of Mary Catherine (nee Nugent). Dearly loved father of Mark Riopelle (Anne Miller) and Jocelyne Riopelle. Cherished and proud Bapa of Wilfred Miller Riopelle. Dear brother of Dr. Richard Riopelle (late Elizabeth), Christopher Riopelle (Caroline) and Mary Margaret Riopelle (Dave Stewart). Special brother-in-law of Patricia “Patti” McLean (Peter), Mike Nugent and Jim Nugent (Salma Lall). Also survived and lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will be held on Monday evening, May 29^th from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning, May 30^th from 9:30 to 10:30. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. Private interment St. Peter Celestine Cemetery, Indian Hill Road, Pakenham.
