We send our belated sympathies to all the family on learning of Anne's death. Franklin let us know about Ron's last week but we were unaware of Anne's in July. They made a wonderful couple and we shared many happy hours together during the Seventies and Eighties, often involving rugby in Edmonton, London and Ottawa. I last spoke to Anne two years ago and was aware of their move and Ron's decline but, of course, she said nothing about her own health. She lit up a room with her bright smile and laughter.
A letter to her is in the mail, hopefully it will reach the family. Our deep condolences go out to you all.

I was so sad to hear of Anne passing. She was a very kind lady but full of fun. She lived at the Glenalee Retirement Park in White Lake with her husband, Rod, for many years. Being a rugby fan, we watched a number of games together, Anne and Rod cheering for England, while I cheered for the All Black New Zealand team. We had some rousing "fights" defending our team. She was a very lovely person and a lady in all sense of the word. Dolores Anderson

Dear Rod and family,
Gordie and I were stunned to hear of Anne’s passing. We send our heartfelt condolences and warm hugs to all of you. Anne was a bright light in Glenalee when we were all living there. She was always so kind and thoughtful and had a great sense of humour. She loved her family so much and spoke of them often. She will, we know, be deeply missed.

The end of an era. We met the Jacques family in Edmonton in 1966 – – went to many parties with Rod and Ann and always had a great time in their company. We did meet up with them a couple of times over the last 50 years and was always great. Ann was such a lovely lady and shall always be in our memories.
