What a big heart of love Aunt Jean had for everyone she met and how she modelled patience and absolute trust in God and His goodness. We will never forget the wonderful memories of times at "the farm" and how welcome we always knew we would be. Our love and sympathy go out to you Doug, Glenn, Jim, Scott and Audrey and your families.

My deepest sympathy to the family at this time of loss. When I was very young, Jean was my Sunday School teacher. Her gentle words and beautiful smile always communicated the love of her Heavenly Father. This left a lasting impression on my life and I’m so grateful for her example. May she rest in perfect peace. ❤️

Although we were many miles away, when we did visit Arnprior it was always great to visit our cousins from the Prior. As a young person I never forgot how good the food was and seemed it was never ending. There was always laughter as all the Glens and Bonds had great senses of humor. The stories of the past times, were usually funny but they also told us about some of the trials and tribulations they faced during the dirty thirties. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend the celebration of life but our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Doug Beattie and family

My condolences to the Stevenson family.
I haven't had the opportunity to meet with this lovely mother in person but the opportunity I got to see you on VC proved that you are a strong woman. Also, Scott is a reflection of one positive soul that emanates from you and am so grateful you had nurtured every seed in you through the right path.
It's good to know that you are a woman Faith and for that reason,I rejoice because a day is coming when we will all meet to part no more in Christ Jesus.

So many wonderful memories of our times together over the years, the trip to Smiths Falls a long time ago, at the farm, with lots of laughter at the dinner table, at church, at home in Arnprior, at the summer camp, in art class. Jean was an inspiration, a mother figure, a confidant and dearest friend. Loved her compassion, humility, gentleness, hospitality, love and laughter and hugs. She was Jesus in a dress to me. Looking forward to what is ahead for us, Jean. All our love, Marg and Ken xoxoxox

Dear Audrey and family, my most heartfelt condolences to all of you. Your mom was one of the best people that I was blessed to know. We met at the Arnprior Hospital, where we worked together in the kitchen as dietary aides. Those were the days when the food was all prepared and cooked by our amazing staff; good food! Jean was a beautiful Christian lady. We also had the best laughs and giggles, she had the greatest sense of humour. That was my first ‘grown up’ job and I met the best people I ever worked with in my life. I can just hear her saying ‘ it’s just a simple farm meal’, her classic line. Your mom went to Pine Grove School with my Dad! He was a couple of years younger than Jean. My dad died two years ago on August 20. Jean was the best of the best and I loved her very much.
