Hi Heather, (I just had to share what I thought of Kevin's Service - I hope you don't mind).
My dear lady, I think of you daily. I think of all of your family, and how hard it must be. My heart aches for all of you.
Somehow you will strive on though, knowing Kevin is with you, each and every second of the day.
Oh God, it is me and everyone else, who thanks you, for sharing such a wonderful man with all of us.
Thank you so much. And it was our pleasure to send the cards, and emails etc.
I know when my husband almost died of COVID, each and every message, phone call and hug that came
in daily, is what kept me above water. I know how much it means. You are not alone. The one thing that
I wanted to say was “after leaving Kevin’s service, I was so filled with love and giving back that I remarked that,
from that day forward I would try to always brighten up someone’s day. Somehow, someway! In honour of Kevin.
I do that mentally and physically, now every day. Your family is amazing! The tributes to him by the family were remarkable.
Each and everyone spoke so beautifully, genuinely, and added the humour too which was so Kevin!
Kevin would have been with you all. He would have been smiling, laughing, crying and having his arm around each
of you as that day was happening. He would have been proud to see the legacy he left, to keep pouring out the love
that he so freely gave. I know Kevin was everyone’s “Knight in Shining Armour”. He still is. Pray to him. He will hand
deliver your prayers to God. I pray to my Grandmother, and she delivers my prayers to God. It’s fullproof!
Your daughter, son, nieces and nephews and others that spoke were so much like “Kevin” and “yourself”.
You could feel the love throughout each and every one of you. Honestly, the LOVE IN THAT ROOM during the
service was like nothing I ever felt before. It radiated that day, and everyone in that room was touched! They
had to be. I will never forget that service! We will never forget Kevin. Please know that we will walk each
day with you and your family in spirit, with our arms around all of you. That’s what love does! That’s what
Kevin would do, and is doing! But he has the pocket full of chocolates.
All our love always and forever,
Nancy Peck

My profound condolences to Heather & the Turcotte family. I had the privilege of meeting Kevin when I was in the Arnprior hospital recently & found him to be a lovely man with a smile & a really engaging personality conversing. I wish I could have spent more time talking with him but he certainly left a warm imprint as to how to be up when the chips are down. Keep your precious memories close to your heart. May he always be with you in spirit. Most sincerely, Rose Glidden

Heather, Chris, Natalie and Kevin’s extended family our condolences for your loss. Arnprior and surrounding area has lost another legend in Kevin. He was known for his generosity, kindness, personality and a genuine nice guy. He loved being around people telling jokes always pulling a candy out of his pocket and offering it to whom ever he was chatting with. I have a tee shirt that has a saying on the back that best describes Kevin and it says “ If you don’t me you are not from around here.” Rest in Peace my friend, we will miss you.

From our family to yours Heather, please accept our profound condolences with the passing of Kevin. He truly was a friend to so many in the community as was expressed by his actions in being that helping hand and good listener to All. Sue and I will miss his stories and opinions on life and of course… his candy treats, each time he stopped by our home. In particular though, I personally will hold fond memories of seeing both of you, with the kiddies, standing on the corner of Edey and John every Christmas season as I passed by with the reindeer. I reflect on what a joy it was to hear Turk(although he struggled with some notes), you and the kiddies singing along with me as we shared a Christmas song or two while my float slowly navigated the turn off Edey and down John. Please know that we will all miss his company this year at the corner of Edey and John but my faith tells me that he will be there in spirit singing along. RIP Kevin. You will be missed but thanks for the memories. Dave and Sue

Kevin was a very good friendly funloving Man. No matter where I met up with Him, He always laughed as we joked. I would see Him at the Yard Sales with His coffee in his hand and wearing different types of sunglasses. He had a good view on life. The world now has a BIG void where Kevin resided. Thank You, Kevin for being such a good Person and Friend. May God Bless You, Keep You, and grant You Comfort and Peace. Until we meet again, My Friend. Sending Prayers Your Way.

My sincere condolences to Kevin’s family. We talked of you all so often whilst at work at Nordion/BT that I feel I know you personally. The love he had for you he wore in that huge smile and his sparkly eyes.
He was so much fun to work with where many hours were spent in his office pouring over drawings so I knew exactly what I was shipping and how it was used. Then in retirement It was always a treat when whilst out on his trips to the city, he would pop into the office for a quick chat and to leave a chocolate or two.
What a great guy he was. RIP Kevin. Too young!

Dearest Heather and family,
Needless to say, we are crushed. We loved this great man who made us laugh and smile as soon as he entered the room!
Kevin has been with Seniors at Home since Jan 7, 2013. (10 years ago).
He was a Driver when he started, then he came on board, as a Hot Meals Volunteer on, May 13, 2015 (8 yrs ago).
Kevin’s kind heart, zest for life and charismatic personality made him the one that everyone wanted showing up at their door with their Hot Meal.
Kevin had a passion for helping everyone, whether it be family, friends, neighbours or strangers. His smile and concern for your wellbeing made you feel special, and if you had any other kind of ailment, well he had his little chocolates, candies or cholate bars that always seemed to do the trick. When you’re feeling the genuine passion from a Volunteer/friend in the way that only Kevin could convey it, in his bright crocks and nice bright shirts and hats, well, he just made you feel special and loved. He always made me smile.
Thank you, Kevin, for touching all our hearts with your love, kindness and generosity.
Forever in our hearts and in our special memories, sweet Kevin.
PS. I have no doubt you’re already up there, in heaven, helping people out and sharing your chocolates!
Until we share cholates again my friend, God’s Speed.
