Words cannot even express how much she will be missed by myself and my daughter Tayah! She always showed such great interest in my family life while living at the Villa! If there was a memorable moment or big event happening at home, I was sure to share it with Marlyn through pictures! She was always telling me how great of a mom I was or how proud I should be of my children! She had an amazing love for her own family! She was so proud of each and every one! Marilyn’ will be missed by many of us, including myself whom adopted her as part of “our family” at the Villa. She was a wonderful, caring, funny woman and she loved to make me blush. I will miss her giggle and her “there it comes” as I would turn a little rosey at something she said. I will always remember her and smile; except for today, today those memories hurt my heart. My thoughts and prayers go out to her true family, today and in the days to come.

Dear Colleen and Maureen: we are very sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was such a pleasant, genuine person; with that very unique “Savard” sense of humour! When we were kids, we’d journey to Arnprior every summer with our Dad, Emmett Savard (Marlyn’s uncle). Colleen, Maureen and the Lunney Family
we are so sad to hear of the loss of Marlyn she was such a happy, fun loving, person. She got her hair done at my sister Joyce's and we would see her and have a chat and good laugh. We made bacon wrapped scallops for her one Christmas Eve as she told Joyce she did not feel up to it and it was a family request so I got a call from the shop and was more than happy to make them. Your Mother being the person she was phoned the next morning to wish us Merry Christmas and thanked us and also to say they were finished at breakfast and she had a good laugh and wanted the same recipe.
She truly was a wonderful caring person and will leave lots of good memories for many people.
