Obituary of John Jr. Sidney

On August 29, 2023, John Michael Sidney, age 49 passed away suddenly and peacefully at his home in London (Palmers Green) UK. 

John Jr. was born at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital to John Sr. and Diane on June 27, 1974. He graduated from Arnprior District High School in 1992, and later went on to study Information Technology at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, ON.

After graduation, in 1997, John relocated to the UK and worked as an Information Technology professional. John worked with clients around the World, providing them advice and IT expertise. Most recently, John was employed as Senior IT Consultant at Planit Testing in Reading, UK.

John loved, and was loved by his family and friends. He loved London life but was planning to return to his roots in Canada within the next year. He travelled the World and his love of cooking had him learning cooking styles of many different cultures. He also enjoyed gardening, music and drumming, hiking, all things IT and was a faithful fan to his Tottenham Spurs; rarely missing a game. 

 

John is survived and deeply missed by his parents, John and Diane (nee Madore) Sidney; his sister Lisa Andress (Peter); his niece Erin; nephew Ross (Madison Kelly); aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. 

John's final arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior

where visitation was held on Sunday, September 24th from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

and where a service to celebrate and honour John took place in the Pilon Family Chapel at 12 noon.
