Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your dad. Patsy and I are only two of the many people who are so much better off for having known your Dad. His dry sense of humor and spirited card games are to be remembered forever. Though his passing has left a sadness among many, it is his life as he lived it that should be celebrated. He was a good friend to us and to many others. He also found time to help those in need of a helping hand (or some, ah, practical home style advice). I might add, that “home style”, straight to the point advice has helped me a number of times. Always ready with hammer and saw to help, and if asked, more of that straight to the point advice. He will be greatly missed but always remembered in so many treasured times. Love to you and your entire family Patsy and Bob

Dear Angela & Jonathan, Kevin, Audrey & family, Noreen, John & family. Our deepest condolences to you. What a beautiful picture of Uncle Dom. It truly portrays his spirit. I was so sad to learn of his passing this morning. I have very fond happy memories and these memories always generate a smile. I never remember one time where he didn't have a smile on his face and something comical to say accompanied by his snicker and grin. He was my guitarist when I was just 2 or 3 years old when I sang for family one song "Maryann regrets she's unable to see you again" and emphasis was on "woo oo oo oo". And the Christmas parties at their house for the children where "Santa" showed up with parcels for the kiddies and it was rather unfortunate that coincidentally Uncle Dom had to leave for some thing that "came up" each year . . . (Smiling). He will be missed very much, but I will hold these wonderful memories close to my heart. If there is a positive thing related to his passing, it is all the memories being shared of his kind soul, the fact that he is now reunited with his beautiful wife, my Godmother, Aunt Bonita, his parents, and family & friends, but most of all, his maker. Dom was a great guy to say the least. For myself personally Dom made a few belts, a wallet and a few knife sheaths over the years and for us at Sandvik many a crane belt and harnesses. I live on the corner of Daniel and Havey and not once did Dom drive by without a big wave and a smile. Everyone around this area will surely miss him for sure. I am deeply sorry for the families loss of such a special guy….
