My prayers and thoughts are with Patti, Amber. Sean and Family during this most difficult time. My name is Stan Kozik and I am currently residing in Chicago and Louisville KY. I am proud to say that Allan was a great friend of mind during our formative years1967-1971 at Downsview Secondary. He was a charismatic guy with a great sense of humor and would always light up a room with his smile and laugh. Alan always had my back in some difficult times and gave me great advice. I played Hoops with Allan and trained with him. We had many one -on- one games in the Summer over those years m the dog days of July. Besides his athletism, he was an intense competitor who worked tirelessly on all facets of his game from shooting, dribbling, defense. He would challenge you to be better and his leadership is another reason why Downsview was a power in the day. The last time I saw Alan was December 1971, al long time ago. It seems it was like yesterday. Amber and Sean your Dad was special and unique. I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to know your Dad.
