Dearest Sheilagh, Brendan, Kaitlynn, Nic and Bill, My apologies for being so late with this condolence. It broke my heart to hear of Kim's passing and all the pain she had been faced with. What an incredible lady! She put up an incredible fight and did it for everyone in her life. We used to see each other at our kid's hockey games and always had a great time at tournaments etc. I also saw her all the time at the hospital, running the show down there. Nothing was too big for her to take on! She never would back down. What an inspiration! I wish you all peace of heart, mind and soul. I'll pray for all your strength and want you to appreciate that she is now with you where ever you are, 24/7, she will be with you, with her hand on your shoulder and with a listening ear. She personally will deliver all your prayers to God. So until we meet again Kim, keep taking care of all of us from above. Much love, Nancy Peck and Tex Wilson and the boys.

Sheilagh, Nic and the rest of the family, I've just learned of Kim's passing and am so sorry for your loss. Sheilagh, I'm sure you would remember Kim's and my figure skating days in our youth. Kim and I were besties in high school sharing lots of laughs as we learned to drive, met our first boyfriends, had our first drinks & generally did goofy things. Condolences to the Edge and Poole families. Kim’s mother, Sheilagh, was one of my grade school teachers. Years later as a young nurse in Toronto, my mother suggested I drop in to visit Kim and Sheilagh, who had an extended stay at Sick Children’s Hospital. It seems Kim made a good life for herself despite the challenges. Cherish your memories.

Although I only had the pleasure of working with Kim for a few months she made that time so enjoyable. As a new hire AND a new nurse she was so comforting, sweet, caring and over all a genuine person ! She always checked in on me and made coming to work so easy! Not to mention she advocated for her staff, patients and the hospital. She made anyone on staff feel like family and she was the mother taking care of us all. My condolences to her family and I know her ARH family will miss her dearly. I’m grateful to have met her even if it was a short time.
