Heartfelt condolences to all Jack’s family from both Vivien and Ruth Jenkins in Scotland. Jack was our cousin and I’m sad to say we’ve lost touch in the intervening years. Our father Norman, was Jack’s uncle and not his brother. He used to visit often when he was travelling abroad through work. He loved to stock up on Scotch pies and other very Scottish treats when he visited. I, Vivien, have a fond memory of holidaying with Jack and Sharon when they lived near Paris. Sharon called to as if I’d bring, split peas, blood pudding, and of course Scotch pies. There was also Fry’s Turkish delight and Fry’s chocolate cream in the order! Thank goodness I didn’t get stopped at customs as I don’t know what they’d have thought of the contents of my suitcase. Norman and Jo also visited when you were there. Such a lovely happy time was had with lovely Jack and Sharon. Much love from Vivien and Ruth
