Thank you all for your kind words. It has been touching, being re-affirmed of just what an impact Tara, my Mum, had through her life on all who knew her, no matter how briefly or infrequent.
We hosted Tara's celebration of life earlier this month, as evidenced by Leigh donating some of the money raised in person to local causes Tara was passionate about. If you missed it or were unable to attend, please send me an email at jack.moulton@bell.net and I would be happy to send you a recording of the remarks.
We also played a video tribute to Tara's life, which you can watch here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RcSybBblwsRMV8-8lI8gNDhz2BOVu33L/view?usp=drive_link

We were so saddened to hear of Tara’s passing. I first met Tara back in 1979 at her sister Sheilagh’s wedding in Calgary. I remember how her smile and personality would light up whatever room she was in. And her Christmas almond chocolate bark was simply the best. Whenever we had the pleasure of crossing paths, Anna and I always found Tara so warm and welcoming. Our condolences to Rick, Sean, Leigh (and family) and Jack, and to the Thorvaldson family.

So sorry to hear this about Tara and our condolences to her family. We mowed her lawn for many years in Manotick and she always had a cheerful word for us when we visited. Sarah and the Greenlife team

Tara & I met at the North York YMCA in 1981 on the track on the roof, we bonded quickly and trained for 2 marathons together in Ottawa (1982/83). I will always cherish our friendship and feel blessed to be Leigh's God Mother. Condolences to her lovely family.

Words can't express the sadness and shock at this news. As a parent volunteer at the school, Tara was a genuine sparkle, always smiling, supporting, encouraging, laughing. I was so fortunate to teach Sean, Leigh and Jack, and to have her constant support each year. Her kindness outside the classrrom was even more first class, including the advice she gave, and the house calls she made. Tara has made a huge impact on me and I'm forever grateful for knowing her and her lovely family. My sincerest sympathies. Xxx

I will miss chats and texts with my little sister.....the finality of that is not lost on me. Will look back fondly on our childhood days of camping, swimming and simply playing in the back yard. When I look back on Tara's life, her unabashed adoration of her three children: Sean, Leigh, and Jack will shine through. Tara was at her best supporting her children throughout their youth and then later on...always lit up when they returned home for a visit. Tara and Rick even moved to Arnprior to be closer to Leigh and Phil, and of late, their precious grandson, Wyatt. Here's to you, Little Sis!

Entirely shocked and saddened by this news. We offer our condolences to all of you, particularly Jack, with whom our David grew up for the past couple of decades. Tara touched our family's lives, in various ways, on a weekly basis. Consistently welcoming, with a broad, ready smile no matter how she may have been feeling physically, she was genuinely interested in each of our 4 kids. Tara supported all of our family's businesses (I can think of 5 offhand, over the years) with great enthusiasm. A very bright spark who will be missed by so many.
