My deepest condolences to you Alan, Cheryl, Kent and Mark. Though I did not have the opportunity to visit with Marion more than a few times, I really enjoyed her company when I did. She was warm, friendly and I felt instantly at home and welcome when I did visit with her. I have had the pleasure to get to know many things and hear a great deal of stories about Marion and your family over the years, through Cheryl. I am so very sorry for your loss.

It was with great sadness that I learnt of Marion's passing today. It was back in 1978 that Cappa and I moved to Burlington, Ont and met both Alan and Marion. Cappa and Marion developed a great bond and loved to shop at bargain stores and knit. After we moved to Saint John NB the friendship continued and we shared many visits with Alan and Marion over the years. Cappa was always curious how old Marion was but it was a secret she never shared. Today the two of them are probably arranging another trip to a thrift shop and finally Cappa will find out her true age. She was and remains a great lady and the world in which we live in today will sadly miss her. Condolences to Cheryl, Kent and Mark and all her grandchildren and of course to Allan. Here anytime you want to talk Allan.

My condolence and remembrance of Marion Spence-Teskey. It was in the middle of WW2 and my family was very excited to be driving “down home” to Chatham to see the new baby, Marion! We climbed up the stairs to the kitchen and there she was, cuddled in a high standing, white wicker bassinet. My beautiful baby cousin became a remarkable woman!
