With heavy and broken hearts, the family announces that Yvonne passed away suddenly at home on Friday morning, July 12, 2024. She was 72 years old.

Loved and treasured Mom of David Herrick (Karen), Jacqueline Herrick (Federico Polsinelli) and Jessica Herrick.

Special Nanny of Nathan and Cameron.

Long-time companion of Jim Schauer.

Dear sister of John Mellema (Noreen) and Annette Powell (Doug).

Also survived by her nieces and nephews.

Daughter of the late Henry and Hinke (nee Bron) Mellema.

Yvonne’s care and arrangements were entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.

A Graveside Service to honour Yvonne was held at the Malloch Road Cemetery in Arnprior on Saturday morning, July 20^th at 11 o’clock.
