Andy, Joannie, Laurel and Heather,
We are so sorry we did not make it to Ann's wake and funeral as we just heard about her passing today. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
I grew up on Peter St. with just one house between the Kasaboskis' and us. Our families were very close and our mothers were interchangeable - it depended on which one was home when we needed them! Although Ann was older than me, we would get together to compare bruises and cuts to see who had the biggest and best. Ann usually won! We watched Ann and Terry's romance grow through the years (the car windows got steamier as time went on and we teased them about this for years!). We talked with, wrote to, and prayed for Ann as she went on her leukemia journey. I will never forget her saying, "I didn't know you could sh-- and vomit at the same time". But she won the battle and we celebrated! Ann's life after that was made up of prayers and celebrations and through it all, the love between she and Terry only became stronger. And so, it is only fitting that they were apart for only a few months and are now together (back to steaming windows!!).
Joannie and Andy, although we don't see each other much, please know that you are always in my heart and I am sure you know, that once we got over the stage of beating up on our sisters and brother, Ann loved you both so very much. Reflect on the happy times you had together and although we will miss Ann, I feel very blessed that we can look back on the great memories we have growing up.
Love to you all.

I am so glad to have visited with Ann (and Joanie) at Lois Agnel’s celebration of life. Ann and l grew up on Peter Street and though she was a year ahead in school we played together for many years. No worries, just fun. I could hardly wait to get to grade nine so l could walk to St. Joe’s with Ann and Barbara Windle. I was unaware that Ann had passed so my condolences to Joan and Andy and Ann’s girls and all their families are regretfully late but sincere all the same. Ann could hardly wait to be with her soulmate Terry and now they are together again

We have so many good memories of our times spent with Ann and Terry over our many treasured years of friendship. The cottage and boating season, snowmobiling , skating on the canal and parties of all kinds. We will miss them forever but know that their suffering has turned into heavenly bliss and pray that they are together with God and watching over us. We have admired Ann's strength and determination to see her girls get married and have families of which she was so proud. Our heartfelt sympathy to all of you. Rest in peace dear friends. Love and prayers, Chubby and Darlene.

My deepest condolenceses to Anne's family! I was just 23 years old when I first met Ann and that was at the Salvation Army Grace Hospital. I graduated in 1983 from the Practical Nursing Program at the Civic Hospital and was hired on the same unit that Ann worked on. She taught me so much, along with many other nurses who worked on the unit. Ann and Terry came to my wedding on October 5th, 1985 in Renfrew and I remember her telling me when I got home from my honeymoon that she had been short of breath dancing on the dance floor and had been diagnosed with Leukemia just two weeks later, that was 39 years ago! What a devistating diagnosis!!
Ann and Terry went to the same parish that my husband and I attend in Stittsville. So many times she asked me to prey for her but she was always so positive and always said that "If you look good, you feel good". She always said that the Doctor's were amazed by her as we all were! I will miss you Ann, may you rest in peace!! Ruth & Bob Elford

I grew up with Ann on Peter Street, Renfrew. We were wee girls and teens together. I remember Ann as fearless. She would climb the tallest trees, crawl in drain pipes in the gully, join every street game and outside ice rink. She was beautiful with gorgeous blue eyes and suntanned skin. She was the first to fall in love and marry. Later , after her leukaemia treatment she spoke of the positive of the frightful journey….getting her brother Andy’s curly hair from his/her successful born marrow transplant. We lost touch with each other as our lives drifted to different cities. None the less, those memories of experiencing childhood and teens together are the best! Safe journey, my childhood buddy. Ann was always lovely, as a kid I remember seeing her occasionally when I went to stay with my grandmother. but when my grandmother Passed away, Ann be came an important figure in my family's life. and I was relieved to see that she never stopped having that loving spirit within her. a multi-decade battle with cancer still couldn't kill that loving fire she had. I will always remember Ann for how hard she worked to make the people around her happy, her hard work and generosity, as well as that of her late husband Terry. have had a profound impact on my life, and the lives of those I love. I hope you rest easy Ann. because if anyone I know deserves peace, it's you.

Ann was always one of my most ardent supporters. She and Terry were know to drive from Ottawa to Gananoque to hear a music tribute show that included myself and often my daughter, Michelle. We did not see each other often but when we did we always had a great time. I will miss her dearly.
