Obituary of Steve Anderson

With heavy hearts, the family regrets to inform you that Steve passed away at Robertson House, Bells Corners just before sunrise on Friday, September 6, 2024.

Duncan Stephen Anderson of Arnprior was 85.

Beloved husband of Lorie (nee Fredette) for over 61 years.

Dearly loved and proud Dad of Christine Anderson (Joe Burke), Stephanie Anderson, Lesley Barr( Shaun ) and Erin Anderson (Noah MacGarvie). Cherished Papa of Megan, Jude, Frankie, Curtis and Stevie. Great Papa of Fleetwood.

Dear brother of Daphne Wightman (Stuart), Colleen Anderson(late Leslie Kong), and Karen Sawyer(late Doug).

Predeceased by his only brother Thomas (Bernice) and son of late Thomas Duncan Anderson and Constance.

Remembered by his nieces and nephews and many friends and longtime customers.

Steve was born in Gretna Manitoba, his mother and sisters adored him as a child.

He joined the Navy when he was a young man and worked on the flight deck of aircraft carriers. He travelled the world then met his beautiful wife Lorie.

He was a true nature lover and was the very best husband and father to his four daughters.

He loved camping and fishing and especially singing at Fredette gatherings.

A very hard working, successful business man, always generous with his time and skills.

Final care arrangements for Steve have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior

where visitation will be held Friday morning September 13^th from (9:30 am to 10:45 am.

A service to honour and remember Steve will take place in the Pilon Family Chapel on Friday morning at 11 o'clock.

Reception to follow.

Interment St. Pius V Cemetery, Osceola.
