Obituary of Eric Mulligan

With regret, the family announces that Eric passed away suddenly at home in Fitzroy Harbour on Saturday evening, September 7, 2024; William Eric Mulligan was 74 years of age.

Beloved husband of Leslie (nee Connolly). Loved Dad of Jennifer Connolly-Mulligan (Ryan Millar) and cherished Grandpa of Isobel Millar. Dear brother of Ron Mulligan (late Della).

Family and friends were Eric’s most cherished possession.

He had a kind and calm demeanor, never raising his voice in anger.

Eric was a wealth of knowledge from history to nature to how to fix the kitchen sink.

Not only was he really smart but equally wise.

He had a genuine love for all animals.

He took great pleasure in the simpler things in life like watching Old Time Western Movies all day long; listening to '80's music anywhere and any time or just hanging around with family and friends.

The king of corny dad jokes, Eric always made sure to explain the joke after he delivered the punchline just to make sure.

He will be dearly missed.

Eric’s final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the

Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during an informal drop-in to be held in the Hall of Bethel-St. Andrew’s United Church,

184 Jack Lougheed Way, Fitzroy Harbour on Saturday afternoon, September 14^th from 1 to 4 p.m.
