Obituary of Fred Mohr
MOHR, Frederick Charles “Fred”
(Construction Supervisor – GIP)
With heavy and broken hearts, the family announces that Fred passed away at home, surrounded by his family on Thursday afternoon, November 14, 2024. He was 74.
Beloved husband and best friend of Linda (nee McBane) for over 44 years.
Loved and treasured Dad of Rebecca Scott (Tyler) and Chuck Mohr (April).
Proud and cherished Grandpa of Annabelle, Frederick and Charlotte.
Dear brother of Shirley-Mae Davis (late Harold Davis, friend of Lorne Brady).
Predeceased by his parents Charles Mohr and Elaine (nee Hamilton) Mohr Bronson (late Lyle), his sister Winona Keon (late Robert) and his brother Erwin Mohr (late Kathy Letts, friend of Rita Payne).
Fred will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, family members and numerous friends and coworkers in the construction world.
Fred’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He looked forward to getting together with the Hamiltons and the Mohrs at gatherings. He was well known for his wit and asking the ladies “Where did you buy that food!” He always gave 100% in everything he did, especially at work. Fred mentored his coworkers by showing and doing it himself. You could always find him in the hole working beside them.
Fred’s care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at the St. John Chrysostom Parish Hall, 285 Albert Street, Arnprior on Saturday afternoon, November 30th from 1-4.
