Always a smile and a wave when you stopped by in your golf cart for a friendly chat or when kindly plowing our driveway in winter. Dave was truly one of the best guys around and you couldn't find a better neighbour! We will miss seeing you drive by with Shirley in your classic yellow truck.
We were so fortunate that you lived a couple of doors down and feel honoured to have known you.
We will miss you.

David and I go way back to the early 60’s and I had the pleasure of serving on Riverview Town Council from 1986 to 1989 when Dave was the Mayor. We have kept in touch over the years and he never lost his sense of humour. He always wanted to know what was happening in Riverview and quite often he knew more than I did.
Please accept my condolences and May my friend rest in peace.

So disappointing to lose yet another long-time friend. During my time in Riverview, Dave served as a volunteer firefighter, served on Town Council; and with pride, as the MAYOR OF RIVERVIEW! He was always enjoyable to work with, and took things in a light-hearted, jovial manner! My sincere condolences to all his family members and friends.

Rest in Peace Dave. Great memories from your days as an entrepreneur with Sand and Rock Blast, to your terms as Councillor and Mayor of the Town of Riverview. You were a loyal and frank friend, never shy to espouse your view in a humourous way of the world around town, the province, and country. Rest in Peace my friend.
